At the moment, Viviana Andrada is working independently as an architectural designer and as a Professor at the Architecture School (UCA) in Paraguay; with a main focus on believing in change in his country towards the effects of architecture on people and education of future generations.
During her academic education, Viviana has worked in different parts of the world as a professional and educator. Inside design firms -Hubmann Vass Architekten (Vienna, Austria), Javier Corvalán + Laboratorio de Arquitectura (Asunción, Paraguay) and Bauen (Asunción, Paraguay)-, she had the opportunity to play various roles in residential, commercial and renovation design projects. Besides, she participated as a collaborator in exhibitions as the Paraguayan Pavilion at the 2014 Venice Biennale. At the universities, IUAV (Venice, Italy), Universidad Católica (Asunción, Paraguay) and the University of Texas at Austin (Austin, TX, USA), Viviana had the possibility to explore different departments as teaching assistant, student representative, researcher and has been recognized as a student leader to be the Dean's ambassador of the School of Architecture at the University of Texas at Austin.
Viviana pursued a Master in Architecture degree at the University of Texas at Austin - rated among the top 10 best Architecture School in U.S.A. and the top 30 universities in the World - specializing in advanced architectural design projects with the integration of the fields of sustainability, theory, urbanism, landscape and preservation. Prior to graduate school, she completed her undergraduate studies in Architecture at the Universidad Católica N.S.A., graduating as Magna Cum Laude in 2014.
